Hello! I’m Tong, a London-based designer and researcher currently working at the Royal College of Art’s Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design.
Across my roles as a UX Designer, Design Researcher, and Graphic Designer, I've focused on crafting joyful experiences that promote inclusivity in digital and physical experiences, and I've found my passion for deep user research in service of bettering the lives of users. As a designer whose design decisions are guided by research, I believe in the power of delving into people’s lived experiences for elegant solutions to complex challenges.Aside from my role as a Design Researcher, I also engage in teaching and course facilitation in the School of Design and Executive Education.
I graduated from the RCA and Imperial College London with a dual MA/MSc in Global Innovation Design in 2022. Before that, I studied BA Design at LICA, Lancaster University.
